Daisy - Senior Beauty Sneak Peek

Here is the wonderful and sweet young lady I had a session with last Sunday. Daisy is so sweet and we had a good time at her senior shoot. She had a few snapshots taken last fall for the yearbook, but wanted something special to give her friends and family. She is quite busy, but she is enjoying her senior year. I wish her all the best and I hope to see her little sister soon...she will be a senior next year!

Senior Beauty - Jamila

I had a fun session with a sweet senior girl on Sunday, but if you know anything about Minnesota winters, you will guess that it wasn't with Ms Jamila here. Jamila's session was just before our first snow back in December. She was so, so sweet and quite brave for hanging out with short sleeves. She was so much fun to shoot. We had a great conversation about colleges and where she hopes to go. I'm so excited for her because she is hoping to go to one of our many Historically Black colleges. She actually went on a bus tour to check out a handful of them last summer. I'm sure by now, she knows where she's headed! Stay in touch Jamila!

I have a 5 star rating on Wedding Wire! It's a great feeling. Read my reviews and tell your friends about me. This year is off to a good start and I plan on trying some new things this year to mix-it up. I'm so excited and I'm ready to take it all on! I'm looking forward to creating incredible memories for my clients in 2010.

Guess who turned 4!

How do you describe the day when you really, really realize that your baby isn't a "baby" anymore? We've been out of diapers for quite some time now and everyone eats the same meal at mealtime. Yay! But seeing your kids grow up always comes with many mixed emotions (I think). You always feel joy, pride, and love and you want to hold on to them and those precious moments you have with them for as long as you can. But there's sometimes a little fear and nervousness too. You sometimes wonder if you did everything "right"? Well, my job isn't done yet and I think I'm doing "alright" so far!
Mario is the youngest of our 3 kids who seems to be growing up faster than I want him to. Lately, I find myself stopping whatever I'm doing to give him a hug or sitting quietly to watch him play and pretend. He tells me he loves me at least 4 or 5 times a day even when he's been "naughty". Now what more can I ask for? I know my baby isn't a "baby" anymore in the traditional sense, but *ALL* of my kids will always be my babies. They are all AMAZING and I can't imagine life without them. Now check out the little model. He "loved" the camera this session!

Anica + Nick Winter Wedding

Congratulations again Anica and Nick! It was such a joy to meet you two and capture your wedding day. You two and all your friends were troopers outside. Anica you are AMAZING! It has been a great pleasure getting to know you two over the past month. Here's a sneak peak at your photos. I'm looking forward to seeing you two again on Thursday.
